35 Y/O wife to Tim and mom to Emma,Noah,Caleb, Stella and 2 babies in Heaven.Trying to walk in the path of the Lord and carrying my family with me. I love our 1902 home we purchased more 10 years ago. It is constantly evolving and goes through whatever changes my little heart desires. I love vintage treasures and I'm always on the hunt for them! My hope is that this blog will be a constant scrapbook for my family and home,a place to make new friends and just somewhere to lay out my thoughts, even if they aren't beautiful or inspiring. I got a big ol' hole in my face!!!

Not sure if I mentioned a few weeks back or not but I found a lump in my face. I had a cold at the time and assumed it was a swollen lymph node. My dr thought it was a swollen saliva gland and sent me to an ENT specialist. He looked at me for maybe 30 seconds and said it was a swollen lymph node.
A few weeks later it hurt again and it was then Dx as a cyst. A cyst that kept getting infected. Anyways I had it removed last week by a plastic surgeon. He also found a 'lesion' below my ear that he removed.

Stella waiting with me to go back. I think she looks a bit like my mom here.

Picnic socks pre-op.
So when I went in for this procedure I was a little taken aback that I had to strip down to my underoos for something on my face. I was not prepared. I didn't shave and I had some funky socks on. Thankfully I had on normal, plain white underwear. Not my Hello Kitty ones or anything crazy like that 0_o.

So now I have this hole in my face. With stitches.(being taken out this Friday) The stitches look like creepy hairs. I've been wearing a lot of scarves............

Friday night was another dance fundraiser for Emma's youth group trip. I decided not to help because I felt weird looking like I got in a knife(cauterizing tool?) fight at a bar or something. But then I went up for the last hour anyways to sit and hang out with some other other moms from church.

Jill and another friend of ours decided to take our girls to Silver Ring Thing at our old church.......

Emma girl looking GORGEOUS as ever! (taken at the dance)

I'm not sure of the impact it made on her. We did not purchase a ring. She had said before that she doesn't need a ring to know whats right. Tim said if she's willing to make that commitment then he will buy her a 'good' ring.

It felt a little weird being back at our old church. In a good way. I don't miss it at all now. I sooo love BCC. I can't imagine going to any other church with any other group of people now. I was put in charge of the egg hunt on Friday night as part of our Family night and I'm pretty excited about that.

Off to enjoy green tea shakes with Em. Have a good week.
