I love our 1902 home we purchased more 10 years ago. It is constantly evolving and goes through whatever changes my little heart desires. I love vintage treasures and I'm always on the hunt for them! My hope is that this blog will be a constant scrapbook for my family and home,a place to make new friends and just somewhere to lay out my thoughts, even if they aren't beautiful or inspiring. Today was the only day this week
that I did not have to leave the house.
For this I am grateful.
Even if I did do 6 loads of laundry.
I'm grateful for that too because
Clean Sheet Night is always the
Best night!
So I've had some stuff on my mind lately.
I have gained a ridiculous amount of weight.
It sucks.
No joke.
I seriously love cookies too much
and am most comfortable in a sitting position.
So one my school mom friends came up with a support group.
Starting off with emails and getting together for walks.

I don't have a weight goal.
I've decided to have a size goal.
A size 12 just like Marilyn Monroe.
I'm not going to live without cookies.
Just less of them.
I also still plan to sit.
Only not as much.
I know this weight is not just about sitting down with cookies.
It is the culmination of:
a sit down job for 13 years
Having 4 babies
being an awesome cook
having a husband who appreciates an all you can eat buffet
My family's condiment of choice-sour cream

So we'll see how this goes.
I think most of all I need to be concious of what I'm eating.
And I'll treat myself with a new bottle of nail polish instead of chocolate.
Eeek!! I just typed chocolate and I'm suddenly thinking of that 3 pack
of Trader Joes Milk Chocolate in the pantry.

Good night!!

Oh how I share your love for cookies and chocolate! I can't help it, I was born in chocolate heaven( Germany) so I think it is somewhat genetic ;) for me. I can also relate to tight pants or maybe even a size more after this winter. But spring has sprung and we need to get in gear to do something good for ourselves. Maybe we can give each other company in resisting to those chocolates calling our names.... I, on my end, will go and get a medical check up done next week, as for a good start.Sending you good vibes....
