35 Y/O wife to Tim and mom to Emma,Noah,Caleb, Stella and 2 babies in Heaven.Trying to walk in the path of the Lord and carrying my family with me. I love our 1902 home we purchased more 10 years ago. It is constantly evolving and goes through whatever changes my little heart desires. I love vintage treasures and I'm always on the hunt for them! My hope is that this blog will be a constant scrapbook for my family and home,a place to make new friends and just somewhere to lay out my thoughts, even if they aren't beautiful or inspiring. What am I waiting for?

I have a laundry list of stuff to do. Yet I keep putting it off. I'm very good at procrastination. Not a good trait. I think this personality flaw is what leaves the unfortunate clutter to accumulate in this house. I'm sure the fact that 6 people live here adds to it but still.........

I really want to start writing more cards. In this day and age it's all about texting and Facebook. But really who doesn't love a pretty card in the midst of bills and junk mail? Not to mention I buy them often and they are just piling up.........

I love magazines! Before blogs, much of my inspiration was drawn from them. My favorite was Mary Engelbreit's Home Companion. I practically devoured it the moment I plucked it from the mailbox. I'm so sad it's not published anymore. I haven't found anything that comes close.Any suggestions? But I have a stack of new issues sitting here on the table.Untouched.Waiting to be read.

I'm pretty sure I've mentioned before that I'm no photographer.(My sister however is a great one!) About 99% of the pics on here are taken with my iPhone4 with some effects added by Instagram. I love Instagram. It's such a fun app and can do great things with your photo's. Recently I took a bunch of the photo's on my phone and actually had them printed. Now I just need to get frames for them. A few years back my kids did a photo shoot for the Carnegie Science Center. While Emma was lucky enough to make the cover of the brochure,Noah's was never published. The photo is just so cute though! So I had it made into an 8x10 and had it framed. Now where to hang it??? The canvas print of Caleb was actually taken with my phone. I think he looks adorable! I'm sure these will sit here until who knows when........

Other things neglected around here include but are not limited to:
  • Getting my little sewing closet together. Tim bought me a gorgeous new machine and some shelves. I kept meaning to get all the bridesmaids dresses that are occupying it together to donate to Project Prom but it never happened.
  • This is sooo embarrassing but Stella's nursery.Yep. She'll be 6 months old on Sunday and does not have a room. She's been bunking with us and her dresser is set up in the hall.Poor 4th child!!
  • Getting a new id. Yikes! My State id expired nearly 3 years ago. This hasn't been a big deal since I don't drive with but with my first flight only 2 months away I'll need this updated for obvious reasons.

I love what you said about hand written notes/cards.
