Summer officially starts for us in a few days. Tomorrow is the last full day of school and Wednesday is a half day and the big kids are done for the year! They don't go back until September 7th. It's going to be a long 3 months!
Don't get me wrong. I love my kids. If I didn't why would I so desperately want #4? Quite honestly though we live on a busy road with no where for them to go play. (If and when we move,a BIG level back yard is #1 on my list of must haves.) This means we are quite often stuck inside with a lot of
"I'm bored!!" being whined around the house. I don't drive and being quite pregnant means not a lot of walking. Ok, now I'm whining.
So for now I'm trying to think of stuff that will get us through the next 3 months that don't involve tv or video games. I'm pretty sure I'm going to sign them up for the VBS at the local Christian church. (Our own church is a bit of a drive and $50 per kid so uh,Thanks but no thanks!) We were also invited on a camping trip.(at 7 months pregnant? We'll see.....)
Noah wants to go see Kiss (yep the band Kiss) and of course there is Relay for Life.
Around the house I want to paint the upstairs hall, get the carpets and air ducts cleaned before baby arrives. Plus we need to make Emma's room in the attic so we can make her room the nursery. This Friday we'll have another ultrasound to follow up and make sure baby is still a girl!

I love our 1902 home we purchased more 10 years ago. It is constantly evolving and goes through whatever changes my little heart desires. I love vintage treasures and I'm always on the hunt for them! My hope is that this blog will be a constant scrapbook for my family and home,a place to make new friends and just somewhere to lay out my thoughts, even if they aren't beautiful or inspiring.
