I love our 1902 home we purchased more 10 years ago. It is constantly evolving and goes through whatever changes my little heart desires. I love vintage treasures and I'm always on the hunt for them! My hope is that this blog will be a constant scrapbook for my family and home,a place to make new friends and just somewhere to lay out my thoughts, even if they aren't beautiful or inspiring. Of course we're ready for 1st grade! (But let's get a Happy Meal first!)

I can not begin to tell you how blessed we are for our kids to go to the school they do. Private schools and homeschooling(of which I don't have the patience for) have been slightly considered in the past but I know in my heart we have made the right decision. Every year has been fun, successful and filled with friendships. Both Emma and Noah have had the same Kindergarten teacher and I can only hope she is still there 4 years from now when Caleb enters. I'm so glad that my kids can start off their education experience with Mrs. D! I don't know who came up with the idea but a whole bunch of us moms(the room moms!!) and kids got together with Mrs.D tonight and had a really nice time.

Noah and Christian-his BFF!

I think Em was bored.....After all she is a sophisticated 3rd grader now!

Noah and his friends being silly!

School starts in 5 days. We can't wait to go back!!

I asked Brianna what she wanted for her bday supper, and she said "A happy meal!". Daddy wasn't in the mood for burgers, though... but she was thrilled to go to Pizza Hut instead (she loves dippin' breadsticks).

We start preschool next Monday. This school thing/schedule is going to take some getting used to! Good luck to your little one :-)

We have another 12 days left and then we will be off to 4th and 2nd grade! The Olympics aren't helping our sleeping schedules! :)
Happy School Days!
