I love our 1902 home we purchased more 10 years ago. It is constantly evolving and goes through whatever changes my little heart desires. I love vintage treasures and I'm always on the hunt for them! My hope is that this blog will be a constant scrapbook for my family and home,a place to make new friends and just somewhere to lay out my thoughts, even if they aren't beautiful or inspiring. Family Room

As mentioned in the Show and Tell Friday post a few weeks back, I prefer to refer to my living room as our family room. It is hard to believe that for years out growing family only had one itty, bitty 2 seater from Ikea. When guests came over we graciously sat on the floor. Now we can seat about 9 people comfortably and when its just us we have one huge place to lounge!

Here is Caleb all the way back in January(he looks so little!) on our old couch. Notice the dark green paint?

Looking at this room, I have to admit it is not really my style. The colors and the furniture had me wondering after our purchase. It is fairly modern for a girl like me.
But when I saw the sectional at the store I immediately pictured us hanging out there watching a movie or dare I say watching the Steelers whoop butt this season??
I like to think that the art I chose does reflect my style more and it coordinates well with the rest of of the room. Here a few pics-taken on different days by the way.
My Black Apple Picture that I love dearly.

I love the way this turned out!!

What a cheerful room! We've got a red sectional in the den, we love it. And I adore that Black Apple pic... fabulous.
