The weather here has been quite beautiful.Around 5 degrees below average and breezy. The nights are coming faster.Twilight has its own soundtrack of crickets.
Emma is just so excited to start the 3rd grade! As she should be-she is a super student.
She counts down the days and gives me a report every morning.I think Noah would rather stay home and play video games though.
August always brings another time of year-my birthday!Followed by my baby brother's 2 days later. I'm turning 30 this year. I had been dreading it for years. But now I don't. I certainly don't feel as old as I had thought 30 felt. Of course I have almost 2 weeks to go so I might change my mind.
But really, I feel I'm reaching 30 very content and quite pleased with my life. Not at all where I thought I'd be.(Single, childless and career minded.)One of my very best girlfriends pointed out that we were supposed to have a place together. We would have a leopard print sofa and velvet purple drapes. I don't think either of us would go for such these days.Let alone our husbands.

- 35 Y/O wife to Tim and mom to Emma,Noah,Caleb, Stella and 2 babies in Heaven.Trying to walk in the path of the Lord and carrying my family with me. I love our 1902 home we purchased more 10 years ago. It is constantly evolving and goes through whatever changes my little heart desires. I love vintage treasures and I'm always on the hunt for them! My hope is that this blog will be a constant scrapbook for my family and home,a place to make new friends and just somewhere to lay out my thoughts, even if they aren't beautiful or inspiring.
