I love our 1902 home we purchased more 10 years ago. It is constantly evolving and goes through whatever changes my little heart desires. I love vintage treasures and I'm always on the hunt for them! My hope is that this blog will be a constant scrapbook for my family and home,a place to make new friends and just somewhere to lay out my thoughts, even if they aren't beautiful or inspiring. I love Thunderstorms. I can't wait for them. I remember when I was a kid, I'd sit on the front porch with my dad and watch them. I can remember the way the rain smelled and the corner of the yard where the downspout was. Once the rained stopped I would play in the puddle it made. A few times I got lucky and a little frog or toad would find its way to my puddle. I suppose they came up from the Ohio river that wasn't too far away from our backyard. Next chance I get I will sit on the front porch during a thunderstorm with one of my kids. I hope when they get older, they will remember the way the aroma of spring tickled their nostrils.
