I love our 1902 home we purchased more 10 years ago. It is constantly evolving and goes through whatever changes my little heart desires. I love vintage treasures and I'm always on the hunt for them! My hope is that this blog will be a constant scrapbook for my family and home,a place to make new friends and just somewhere to lay out my thoughts, even if they aren't beautiful or inspiring. Girl talk (may be TMI!)

I've been reading up on homemade pads. Has anyone ever given these a try? I'm not sure if they'd be economical for me or not. I mean I'm pretty good with coupons and I'm not brand-picky so I usually get whatever I can thats on sale and even cheaper with a coupon. However I'm a sucker for things that are cute and homemade. The one downside I foresee would be cleaning. You have to soak them in a solution of Borax(my new BFF!) until you get around to washing them. Also my visit is only about 3 days long. But it probably wouldn't hurt to have a few around. Heres a few tutorials I found:

Many Moons

Theres also quite a few sellers on eBay that have them.

ETA: I decided to buy some. I found them at Punky's Pads. I purchased the regular in the flannel Candy Cuties pattern and the 7 inch circle in White Sushi. I'll let you guys know how they work out.
